December 1st 4:00-7:30pm - The Taste of Leadville Fundraiser
The Taste of Leadville is St. George’s annual fundraiser in conjunction with the Parade of Lights. Since food is central to our mission, we want to celebrate the many unique tastes of Leadville by bringing the entire community together to sample “bites” and “sips” from our town’s various restaurants and venues.

Longest Night
December 21, Thursday at 5:30pmThe Christmas season can be a hard time of year, particularly if you are grieving a loved one, grappling with an illness, struggling financially, suffering from anxiety or depression, or wrestling with current events. To make space for grief and to offer care and support to each other we will have a special worship service on the longest night of the year, Thursday, December 21 at 5:30pm.
During this worship service we will acknowledge our shared experience of dark and difficult times, and wait together for the dawn of hope. The service will include the opportunity for you to witness to your individual experience by sharing a song, brief story, poem, or painting. Following the worship service we will have a time of fellowship.
Meet Your Many Selves: Introduction to Internal Family Systems
January 20, Saturday 1-5:00pm
Do you ever feel like there are many different, sometimes conflicting, yous? Part of you is ready to make a big personal move and another part holds you back? Part of you sabotages your efforts to live your dreams? On the one hand you are a competent adult, and on the other you are still an insecure 13-year-old. Each of us is made up of many different parts. Begin to explore your many parts in this free workshop on Internal Family Systems (IFS) on Saturday, January 20, 1pm – 5pm.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is an evidence-based approach to therapy that offers transformation for people with trauma and relationship struggles. It is also effective with addictive patterns and has demonstrated increased healing with autoimmune diseases. IFS is a valuable tool in our personal growth, and allows us to step into life with confidence, calm, compassion, courage, creativity, clarity, curiosity, and connectedness.
Our workshop leader is Karby Allington-Goldfain, LPC, LMFT who is a Certified IFS therapist, a Somatic IFS therapist and an IFS-I approved Consultant. Karby will present an overview of IFS and invite you to explore your own internal system to the degree that you are ready. She will offer guidance in how to continue to work with the parts that live inside of you. One of Karby’s greatest passions in life is to facilitate the relationship between people and their parts and she is excited about creating a safe space for everyone who comes.
